I purchased Grandpa Gus’s Potent Mouse Repellent because I was looking for an all natural solution to combat the invasion of pesky rodents in my pantry. I have to say, what initially drew me in was Grandpa Gus himself. I just really liked the branding and felt that the product was original and legit. Little did I know that it would work so well.
After just a week of daily sprays around the base of my pantry, I haven’t seen a mouse yet. Whereas I was seeing telltale signs of them every single day leading up to my first use. The ingredients are so simple and safe…. SAFE!!! It contains water, Pepperment oil, Cinnamon oil, and Sodium Laurel Sulfate which is a foaming agent found in many soaps and toothpastes. It just so happens that rodents don’t like the smell of peppermint and the cinnamon burns their mouths (imagine chewing an entire pack of Red Hots at once) to deter them from chewing.
It worked so well on the mice, I decided to spray some on my potted plants outside because the squirrels kept digging in the pots, and it worked to deter them as well after just a few days. I would think that any creature that relies on chewing is not going to like getting acquainted with Grandpa Gus!
Lastly, and most surprisingly… The spray smells pretty good. It’s peppermint and cinnamon. It’s similar to the scent of walking into a craft store at Christmastime, but slightly more minty. Not bad at all. And it’s safe for people and pets.
I have to say, I’m all for Grandpa Gus and his Potent Mouse Repellent. I would recommend this product with 5 stars. No more chemical sprays for us when it comes to rodents. No more sticky traps.
